June upload

Hi!

In my previous post, I mentioned that I was learning some Chopin polonaises and here is one of Chopin's earliest composition, one can definitely recognize the resemblance to Mozart's work.

Summer Vacation

Hello everyone!

Since it's now summer break, I thought I should make a list of the music that I intend to learn during this holiday. Also, I've changed my YT cover art once again, be sure to let me know what you guys think of it.

1. Chopin Polonaise in G minor
I've started working on this piece a few days back and I'm currently halfway through it, as this is a really short piece which Chopin had composed when he was a really young boy. Hopefully I'll find time to record this piece for YT soon.

2. Bach Partita No.2 in C minor BWV826 Capriccio
I was flipping through one of my music books and I came across this Bach piece. I've always wanted to pick up a new Bach piece since it has been quite a while since I've played Bach. Bach's music is always a challenge to me, because of how the 2 multiple melodies that intertwine between the right and left hand. I've just started learning a short phrase from this piece today and it is incredibly difficult I must say.

3. Haydn sonata in c major hob xvi 35 3rd Movt
I've played the first movt many years back and I did attempt to learn the 2nd and 3rd movement but not to completion, hence now I've decided to revisit the 3rd movement. Haydn's music is not very complex compared to Bach, but his music have loads of ornaments where I tend to mess up ahahhah.

That's all for now, I'll try my best to practice and keep y'all updated with my progress.

Cheers

I'm BACK!

Hello!

I'm officially done with my 2nd year in Uni! So here's a Beethoven sonata to celebrate! Woohoo!

Recently, I've gotten a new Chopin Polonaise Collection book and I can't wait to start learning pieces from it. Since, I've never ever played a Chopin polonaise, I may start with Polonaise in G minor which is supposedly one of his easiest polonaises. Let me know what other polonaise you think I should learn! :)
